My rates are based on various factors, including the level of mathematics, the number of sessions you think you'll need, and your ability to pay. In a way, you pay me a combination of the skill required to help you, what you can afford, what you think I'm worth, and what my availability allows.

Student T

Student T attends an independent school, has a two-parent household; one parent is a doctor, and the other is a homemaker. Student T is taking AP Calculus BC and is applying to several Ivy League schools. They need 2-3 hours of study time to prepare for exams about every 6 weeks. Price: $100/hr online

Student C

Student C is taking a college-level business calculus class at a large western University. They come from a two-parent household and used tutors in the past who taught them incorrect techniques. They need one hour per week.

Price: $65/hr online

Parent M

M lives in Irvine, CA, and is the single parent of three children. The kids help each other, but the oldest is in Honors Precalculus and needs to work on symbolic fluency and practical application.

Price: $45/hr online

In Person Tutoring Available

I am fully vaccinated! In-person tutoring starts at $75 within a 25-mile radius of my home, with no mileage charge. All in-person visits are followed up with a summary of the session, including my observations and suggestions.
